Park Trail Reconstruction Program
San Franciscans told us that
improving our City's trails were their top priority for park improvement, so
that is exactly what the Park
Trail Reconstruction Program aims to do. We are working to improve the
landscape that surround our trails and better control the erosion that occurs
when trails are heavily used.
Project Sites:
We have completed overall program planning and prioritization of
the sites to be focused on in this program. The draft prioritization and
project scopes dated May 28, 2009 listed below were approved by the Recreation
and Park Commission on June 4, 2009. Starting in the fall of 2009, planning on
individual projects and specific designs will be developed through a community
